First Responders Appreciation Lunch: Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters and Emergency Medical Technicians are invite to a lunch on us; giving them just a small thank you for all of the work they do for our communities. Members prepare the meals, serve them to those attending, and they also deliver them to various agencies that could not attend in person.

Northeast Revitalization; Adopt A Family; and Candy Canes For Kids: Our club sees the need to assist children and families that might not be fortunate to have holiday celebration meals. Partnering with a variety of welfare organizations and schools, we supply meals for a variety of holiday seasons.

Chili On The Ridge is our annual competition between businesses and civic organizations. Champions are awarded a cash prize, along with a trophy. Local fire departments also compete against each other for bragging rights and a traveling trophy. Participants pay $10 for all the chili samples they can eat, and they get one vote on The People’s Choice Award. A play area is set up for kids, and music is provided by a local band. Weekly Meeting Speakers: Learning about new businesses, community leaders, and special events are among the topics covered in our weekly meetings.

The club awards college scholarships to area high school seniors for their academic achievements.

EMBER DOG PARK: The club was proud to be one of the first contributors to the Haines City Dog Park, having a bronze statue cast in the likeness of the park’s namesake. The park is presently under construction and is scheduled to be done in Summer of 2023.
